Minnesota is a Western Conference-worst 15-62 on the season and lost for the 18th time in 19 games on Sunday in Oklahoma City when Kevin Durant scored 40 points to set a new franchise single-season record in scoring, as the Thunder defeated Minnesota, 116-108, at the Ford Center. Jonny Flynn and Ryan Gomes led the Timberwolves with 22 points apiece. Corey Brewer added 18 points, Al Jefferson 16 and Damien Wilkins 12 in defeat. "We had opportunities to cut it even closer than that but we missed some easy shots inside. We were right there, I was happy with they played in the second half," said T'Wolves coach Kurt Rambis. Golden State is a dreadful 6-32 on the road this season but one of those wins came in Minneapolis back on Jan. 6. Overall, the Warriors are 2-0 vs. the Wolves this year and will be aiming to sweep the season series from Minnesota for the first time since 1991-92.
