Imrie signs extension with Hamilton

07/13/2010 - Hamilton, Scotland (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Hamilton striker Dougie Imrie has signed a two-year contract extension to keep him at New Douglas Park until the summer of 2013.

The 26-year-old joined the Accies in January from Inverness Caley thistle and has clearly impressed manager Billy Reid during his first few months with the club.

Imrie said after penning his extension: "There are not many deals about at the moment, so to get another two years on my contract is fabulous. It's always good to be recognized as doing well.

"When the manager spoke to me after the season had finished, it didn't take me long to sit down with my agent and get the deal done.

"I'm just glad everything is tied up and I can concentrate on playing for Hamilton next season."
